Man, the things people will never know unless they travel. You should do broadcasting or something that requires your presentation like abilities. Your much better than professionals I've seen.

I dig the design of that huge mall. The roller coasters and the beach with the water slides at the top adds flair! Your lock up up bag sure came in handy. That food looked delicious. Keep on exploring Kazakhstan!

Thanks for video. After watching your video, I search for Kazakhstan and learned several things about it. Kaz have the ninth largest territory in the world and is rich in oil and resources (Wow). Also this country that is related to the painful past of Korea. Although it's not currently advanced country, I expect to be a better country in the future.

That looks like an awesome mall! And being the huge dino-nerd I am, that dinosaur park in there made me wanna visit even more haha! And the artificial beach and slides look really fun too and it's nice how you can go there even in the winter, great way to escape the cold for a bit. I'm Norwegian and I find Kazakhstan to be a very fascinating country, I hope I can get to go there someday.

I have a question... What are your thoughts on Turkmenistan? That's another country I love. I know you said you were going to travel through Uzbekistan, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan, but I feel Turkmenistan's capital, Ashgabat, is just as beautiful as Astana and I love their culture there as well. Did you ever have a desire to travel to that country?
@PatMaxAdventures

It is extremely hard to get a visa to Turkmenistan for any nationality. I have met two Canadians and one German who got rejected several times. It's also VERY expensive to visit that country. The require you to go through a tour company, which charges people thousands of dollars just for a a week or less. Not many many people visit there because of these reasons. The visa process is one of the worst in World. I really wanted to visit there, but the visa process was too much and way too much work to do at this time. Maybe in the future when they begin to open things up a bit more.

PatMax Adventures What about Tajikistan? Is it also hard to get into that country?
@PatMaxAdventures
7 жыл бұрын
No, Tajikistan is much easier to get into. I unfortunately decided to skip Tajikistan on this trip because of time and certain things I am doing out here. I want to come back to central Asia again in the future and go to Tajikistan then.

Max, this is not the biggest mall in Central Asia, there are bigger malls in Almaty, and maybe somewhere else in other Central Asian countries... but it is the biggest tent shaped building
@PatMaxAdventures

I agree with you and I will correct that. I went to several malls in Almaty and the one next to the EXPO and thought they were much bigger. Though I was told by locals in Astana that this was the largest mall in central Asia and that is why I included it in the video.

In Astana there is a sharp continental climate. In the summer +30 in the winter -30. Astana is the coldest capital in the world. By area Astana is larger than Seoul and Oslo.
