I bought a Fluke 115 in 2008. It has been fantastic and even has a sweep display. I bought an Ideal clamp meter last year that reads AC and DC amps as well as all the other typical functions with the addition of temperature. It has been a game changer at home working on motorcycles. I almost started carrying it everywhere!

When I'm spending company money for new people I'm either looking fluke 115, 83, or 17b. Clamp meters are great and free up a hand.

@@Jaspel I like the no lead hookup for amps and it even has no touch AC voltage. I never heard of Ideal before but apparently they started in the 19 teens, so cool to have another brand to look for.

@@upsidedowndog1256Ideal makes the best wire strippers out there and almost comparable to kline in hand tools.

Hi, do you know if this can record the average current draw over time? Maybe if you press Max/Min 3 times? On the image on the box it shoes 'AVG' next to 'REL' so I wondered if that meant average? I need to record battery drain on my car. Thank you.
