My son broke his Nexus 7 2013 screen by accident a couple of months ago and I bought a replacement screen, but I realized it was dead after installing it. The eBay seller sent me a replacement screen and that's the one I am installing in this video. Its much easier if you purchase an LCD screen that already comes with the frame. The back cover can sometimes be challenging to remove, don't be surprised if you crack the back cover a bit.
If you're experienced with replacing only the LCD panel instead of buying the LCD panel+Frame, you'll save yourself about $10 going that route but there are more risks, it requires more patience, and it is more challenging to accomplish.
The screwdriver set that I used is no longer available on Amazon, but I will post a link to a similar one.
