This video could have been very good, but they left out an important step. To take the keyboard off, you also have to remove the screws that hold the SSD in place, or at least I had to do this on mine. Not having that information caused some trouble for me.

Was easiest to get the keyboard off by gently pushing up through the DVD drive bay to get it started. Didn't need any tools to get it off working around from that start point. Glad I saw that the harddrive needed to come out. Need to pull the DVD drive all the way out too. Thanks for posting this.

Watched the video casting to my TV from my phone...so I didn't see the 'unscrew the hard drive'....that was nearly a disaster....but your advice as to encountering a lot of resistance probably means a screw is still in, pointed me to the SDD still being attached and needing to be removed, was a life saver. Once SSD out, all done in a few minutes. Cheers guy

The issue might be the ribbon cable that connects the keyboard to the motherboard. Pull it out and make sure its aligned properly at the slot. If the cable is broken you may need to bring it to a repair shop and get the cable ordered in and replaced. Otherwise you may need to buy a whole new replacement keyboard. I had the same issue with my razer blade. It means there is connection that overlaps each other so when you press 1 key, it would register the the ones that are overlapped
