Nicole Perault ’24, a nursing major, leads a tour of single-occupancy room in Dalyrmple Hall, a Norwich University civilian-student dorm.
“It’s a great life here, very calming, very quiet, very clean,” she says. “It’s very homey and it’s like living with your best friends.”
Perault shows what comes with the space - bed, desk, dresser - and how she’s customized it, adding a table, minirefrigerator and a microwave oven. She also shows the dorm’s laundry room and gym, open 24/7, and her floor’s lounges, one of which has a kitchenette. She also describes the campus’s Dunkin’ Donuts, where she gets coffee, and Shaw Outdoor Center, where she and other students like to climb and hike.
