Thanks for this video. First I have a dead Atari. After replaced 2200uF cap, I've an output, but black screen. Then I replaced few caps (4.7uF 0.22uF 820pF) in the Switchboard and CPU, but still got black screen. After watching this video, I'm going to focus on the transistor.

An oscilloscope will help allow a much smother troubleshooting process. This allows you to trace things like your oscillator circuit, video, audio, RF, etc.

Out of desperation I desoldered the cartridge slot from my MB last night. The system had sat with spilled cola in it for years which ate up all the solder. BUT the cartridge slot was immaculate! So, I'll never take one lose again. That dust cover is serious. Also, how beautiful are the old motherboards with Atari and WarnerBros logos etched on the metal!!

Helpful video. How do you test transistors Q200 and Q201 with a multimeter?

I just picked up a light sixer 2600 that just BARELY gives off any signs of video from it's native RF. If I switch channels, I can sometimes just barely tell it isn't total static for a second or two. What would you suggest I look into for this particular issue?

hmmm I have a first generation Mega Drive that has audio that sounds like a VIC-20 in the distance. nobody has found a fix for it sadly, the high definition graphics + stereo sound labelled consoles are gold dust.
