After trying this again, it dropped to about 40w grid idle (no load, powersave disabled). Not sure why. But this is now good. Unfortunately ATC still doesn't automatically switch over with powersave enabled.

I have inverter growatt spf 6000 es plus... stby power consumption is only around 40-50 watts

Put a clamp meter on and verify the reading is accurate

1.4Amps @ battery power = +/-70watt standby power

The left side showing 1.6A in is grid AC in though. Battery power is at the bottom of the screen, oscillating between in and out (it does the same when the battery is disconnected). No load connected.

I will be able to better update in a few weeks, because I still haven't installed the panels. I'm only running it in bypass mode (idle) until now and so far I would say it's loud enough already that you can't have it in a living room. It has a few bugs for sure, but still a good option for the price point.

Hopefully the growatt UI is wrong, still not great as it means their statistics can't be trusted. I get 70w idle battery-only, this here is grid-only though, has he also got 70w grid-only?
