This form was literally a cornerstone of one of my favorite scenes in Avatar. When Zuko and Aang did this with the Dragons flying around them, it was a scene to quote a different show "of great beauty and sublime joy."

Why does this not have more likes!? (This one is by far the best I've seen, far better than other tutorials where the person just clumsily stammers their way between the poses seen in the Dancing Dragons episode)

Incorporating this into an Irish dance I’m working on…sounds weird but it works! And I have to say how lovely this is. The transitions you have added make it so smooth. Makes me miss kung fu so much! Thank you for this.

This is so cool. Thanks so much for making this interpretation; it's lovely. I'm halfway through learning it, and it's such a fun form. I can't wait to have it down. I'm planning to use it as a warm up later, for other workouts and for when I begin learning northern style kung fu. The closest thing around here to northern shaolin (Bak Sil Lum?) is northern praying mantis, so that's what I'll be starting out with.
