At first I thought this was not going to get any better. But when I watched it, I realized that it is much better than expected. The storyline and direction are good. Jennifer's acting is also at a good level. In a movie like this, some expect serious things. But sometimes we need to see a simple story because there is often a lack of good Sci Fi movies. This has a slight similarity to the story of the video game Titanfall and it is also a matter of pleasure to get the artificial intelligence inspiration that everyone is hoping for. Overall. As a whole, it can be called as a film that can be successful. Thanks to netflix.

Just discovered Liu watching Atlas a week ago. The movie production was subpar, but Liu and Smith's VA were the standout features of the movie. Smith was reminiscent of BT-7274, and gave a great AI performance. First movie, If I'm not mistaken, I've seen with AI comrades in arms, and that story element made the movie compelling as well. Harlan was a beast. Despite being Chinese I see Simu taking main star roles for a decade. That's the impression he left me.

I genuinely appreciated this movie, it’s a fun movie and could’ve used better cgi however for its budget forgiveable. If you’re going to hate on Jennifer Lopez for this you’re crazy! First off, she can act when she gets into it and this movie didn’t always take itself that seriously, their are a couple of funny moments in it and she even admits and breaks down some of her real life flaws when speaking with her A.I. Body Armor in a humorous way. If you can’t appreciate a good summer popcorn fun movie than you just hate movies . Second, She is very talented and when she performs although not the top vocalist her performances blow out most female performers half her age because she can actually dance, perform, and entertain and puts in the work as opposed to most current top performers who lazily stay in one spot and let the cgi animations take over for them to tell a story. So instead of knocking her as a lazy eye critic keep in mind most of you “critics” couldn’t do half the work she can, respect the art cause last I heard talking behind a screen and laughing at ppl with zero appreciation for what people actually try and present like YOU could do it better ?? Stop the nonsense people, give credit where credit is due!

It's predictable and rips off other movies from Terminator to Aliens 2 - including some of the dialogue. Interesting story take but ultimately a recycled movie - which is what j.lo is known for. Half of her acting in this is shaking her head and being over the top. It's just a lot of laziness. It's understandable why many people don't like it, but because it's sci fi and rips off other classics, it's also understandable why some do.

I did get annoyed with the amount of crying and whining and In general miserableness of Atlas but after seeing the backstory of what she feels so guilty about made it somewhat tolerable. I do agree that had they taken things a step further and built in even more backstory about her father and more specifically WHY this Harlan has such a psychopathic disposition would’ve brought things together even more so. Perhaps they were planning that and it was edited out thinking they could use it on a sequel???
