im running my swordfish on 4S liion with tmotor-f90 (2806.5 motors) 1950kV. Cruises at very low throttle (around 20-30%) and has ample power for launching at like 50% throttle. Love this bird so much though. very calm and if you haven't tried yet try flying it inverted if you are comfortable. It loves to fly inverted way more than it ever should lol

Also as a tip for landing: i found it helps pickign a descent rate with throttle on at 10% or something to keep it above stall speed and then just cutting throttle right before touchign down. Makes for way smoother landings

@@dihler55 Yeah, I cut throttle fully before landing. Ill keep the 10% idle on landing in mind, thanks.

I'm in Tampa area. Not many places to fly near me. Love to find a place like this.

Yeah, I been looking for a flying area for months and just happened to stumble upon this while driving. I was just going through google maps to find a good location for quite a bit.

I would definitely get some practice with line of site flights and launching manually. If you haven’t tried that yet

I know how to fly line of sight, most of my flying up until recently has been line of sight. Although, I have never manually launched this plane.

Awesome flight, thank you for sharing the info and footage. What did you use to mount the camera? Is it a 3d print?

Its the Atomrc gimble, it is 3D printed and it comes with a 270degree servo. Its designed to be hot swappable across planes but I found it too cumbersome to use so I only use the 3D printed portion to attach to my aircraft and all the other wires I just manually connected to my FC. I broke my first servo so I use a 300deg servo from DF Robot and its been working pretty well.

Trying to get the 300deg servo. What is the part number from DF Robot?

@@HRValles SKU:SER0053, You have to change the PWM range in iNav though to make it move all the way. Otherwise it just acts as a 180degree servo.
