Thank you for this. It's far more useful than the few other available sources of guides on Babcat Compacts, including Bobcat's on video's... I've had my own CT1021 for well over a year, and I finally got the M60 belly mower for it. And could not get the rear linkage assembled correctly. This video was invaluable in showing correct assembly for me to troubleshoot my own. Very, very helpful.

With my JD1023e I don't have to crawl on the ground to hook up my mower. It takes less than 5 minutes

Very similar to my bx2350 as far as hook up. I like that you can drive over the mower, definitely nicer than mine in that respect Not sure i like the way the hydraulics hook up. Seems a little tight to get your hands in there.

I wanted the BX, but at the time I was looking no one had any in stock. And yes, it’s a bit tight.

you are missing multiple step. You are supposed to adjust the wheels with the spacers. If you dont the deck dangls and on uneven ground it can be off by inchs on a 5 foot wide deck

I remember your video of the level issue you had mowing your grass......I watched it before purchasing this machine. So are you saying the deck should be low enough where the wheels ride on the ground? If that's the case I have been using it wrong.
@nedlowfarmsw2190

@@loosecabooseproduce3976 that is correct its suppose to be similar to a 3 point finish mower thats why they come with all of those spacer and wheels

I’m having lot of trouble climbing over the mower. What’s happening most of the time is the tractor pushing the mower with it, how did you fix this problem ? Also changing between low and high not always easy

So my mower deck lays on base rock. So it won’t move easily. Then I put the tractor in low and 4 wheel drive, and it climbs right over. With the shifting it’s a hydrostatic transmission. Meaning gears may not be aligned like in a car. So if it won’t go in gear just press on the accelerator peddle a few seconds then take your foot off. Then put it in gear. Pressing on the accelerator will usually realign the gears. It’s normal for a hydrostatic transmission.

i don't like the way you have to put the mower deck on, being and older person way to hard compared to my john deere drive over auto connect.

Good demo. Notice you have a low-profile bash plate covering the hydrostatic oil filter. What's the details on this bash plate, please? I'm looking at buying a CT1025 and the dealer wants to charge me $800 (AUD) for a bash plate and claims that it will interfere with the mid-deck mower placement. Thanks.

When I bought the tractor I also bought the filter guard. It was approx $170. It goes on easy so I did it myself. Thanks for the view and the comment.

How much did that tractor cost I'm thinking about getting a little tracker with a backhoe
@loosecabooseproduce3976
Жыл бұрын
$16,500. Well about a year ago Bobcat had a promotion. The tractor came with a free loader. And at the same time they had special if you bought 2 implements you got a third free. So basically I was able to get a free loader and one free implement. My implements were the mower deck, the tiller, and a free box blade. Thanks for checking out the video. It’s appreciated.

Additionally, the back hoe is quite costly.

@@ivanbremer8662 Yes, I have read about the fan blades being plastic and not holding up. Last week I took my front tire in because It thought I had a slow leak and was told it was a "bead" leak. They fixed that for me. With what we use this tractor for it is the right tool for us. Any bigger would be a waste of equipment. Any smaller and I would be frustrated. And yes, I have had to clean off the radiator screen often when mowing. Hey thanks for the comment. Take care.
