A peak of 2100 is crazy tilt that brother needs to take a break.

Yeah for real. Tilting happens, don’t get me wrong, but losing 200 Elo? That’s crazy

@@yon_chess probably why he's playing so fast too

Incredibly interesting game. I would have honestly been very confused and stressed when they were Marching their pawns.

Yeah, it can be scary when opponents push pawns. I didn't do a great job stopping the pawn pushes (a5 would have been good to stop b4 like I mentioned in the analysis), but luckily I was able to neutralize his threats.

@yon_chess I saw that, that would have been an excellent way of opening up the queen side.

Good thing you won though since it was reckless of him to play fast
@yon_chess

Yeah I don’t really get when people do that. I get you put pressure on your opponents clock, but at a certain point you’re playing suboptimal moves when you play really fast and don’t consider all options.

I wish you spotted Qd5 pinning the Knight to the Queen that would have made it a bit easier

Hm. What position would Qd5 been good?

Sometimes you pick up a piece and drag it to a possible position without actually moving it. Are you not worried you might drop the piece by mistake onto a square you might not wanna. Gives me some stress when l see you do that 🙂.
@yon_chess

That’s actually something I need to not do. I’ve accidentally put a piece on a square I didn’t mean to so many times because of that. I should just use the arrow and only press on the piece when I actually want to move it.

Your opponent had b6 stopping the mate threat

b5 sorry* but yeah it was in the analysis

Yup, I'm surprised I missed b5 during the game. It's all still lost, though, since I can just push my past pawn. b5 would have stopped mate momentarily but would have been a pretty easy conversion for me luckily.

I started learning chess around 3-4 years ago, I can't fully remember. I really started taking it seriously the beginning of last year.

I’ve noticed that a lot these days. People play so fast on rapid games.
