YOU BEAST! The grit to get through that is just inspiring. Been following you for years and how you're able to do ALL THE THINGS and still being present for your kids while writing 😱 I don't know how you do it.

Aww this is the first 24 hour novel. I have always been impressed by all your crazy writing challenges. Your discipline is amazing. I am also amazed at how you can write on without fixing all the typos you have. I have to fix tha twithout moving on.

Omg Sarah you did it! You did an amazing job! I can't tell you how much I love your videos because you always make me laugh. I didn't even get a quarter of the way, think I have to plan better next time but watching you hit this goal just motivates me so much. Can't wait for the next video! Take care ❤❤

The editing of this video is *chef's kiss* Well done, both on the editing and the writing! I remember that marathon writing brain fog quite well and quite fondly! 😂

Do you always do your first drafts in 24 hours? Because part of my process is letting ideas naturally evolve. If every idea I got, I burned myself out with a 24 hour draft, I would probably never find excitement in that novel because the process to develop the idea was so chaotic. Just curious because you mentioned this happening to you before. When I was a newer writer, I would often abandon novels, but now I seldom do it. I'm now 3-4 years into writing novels. Anyway, I'm new here so for all I know you've published 20+ novels or something, but in case this is a problem, then maybe try to let an idea bake more before you put it through the 24-hour burner. Anyway, great video. No idea how you did this with children. I type VERY fast, but even I couldn't do that with children to care for and livestreams and a million other responsibilities. 24 hours would have been like 12 hours in that case. lol

This was just a fun, writing challenge; I don’t typically draft this way but I have done similar challenges (70k in 7 days, 50k in 3 days,) while writing a first draft because I find it exciting/ helps me push past perfection and just get the draft written.

That's amazing! I like how these challenges, challenge us. I tried a novella in 12 hours, because it was Father's day and we had plans. I managed a 10k in 8 hours, so didn't quite hit the mark.
