Not bad for a first time at tackling the screaming octopus. Kinda sounds like my cat begging for food.

Blow and Squeeze; these are easy words :) However, when doing the 'cycle' of both its like learning to ride a bicycle (without stabilizers....). Well done.

Not as bad as my first time, started practicing before I knew to attach the cords to the drones, the tallest drone came down like a karate chop and cleaved a vase in half somehow haha. Keep going matey :)

I'm curious, have you done any more playing with bagpipes since this video? This video is like 5 or 6 years old now.

Not in a serious capacity. I’ve done a few other similar TV segments though.

@@ChipBrewster Ah, cool. Well, if you still have an interest for bagpipes, I think you should pursue it, even if it's just as a hobby rather than doing it professionally or whatever. I'm a hobbyist musician myself and frankly I've no intention on going professional with it... I do it because, and only because, I enjoy it, and it makes me happy in life. If I play in a live concert, and I enjoy the music I'm playing and I'm having so much fun with it, and the people enjoy what they hear, to me that's far greater than a paycheck... that's the best reward I could ask for. I would happily do concerts free of charge for that reason! And now I'm going off on a bit of a tangent :)))

Not on a bagpipe. I’m a saxophone player so I understand breath control and standard fingerings but I promise I had never attempted a bagpipe prior to this
