5:20 About your NYC comment, completely agree. I love NYC and live here. Videos like yours a so important to show how everyday people enjoy the city. I've grown up in the suburbs of VA and it just wasn't the right place for me. Too many people assume NYC is Times Square or Sex in the City and it's so much more. Thanks for showing how great our city is!

I love this! I was born and raised in NYC. Though I no longer live there, it's nice to see the positive things about it. Growing up on Roosevelt Island, sounded like it was made up. Who can say they went to school attached to a building, learned how to garden, was surrounded by water and parks and greenery. I call NYC, beautiful grit. Where can you walk and see concrete, and flowers at the same time. Can't wait to see another walking vlog. You may have inspired me to come up and do a walking tour myself. ❤

It's so nice there. As cool as the tram is, it can get packed with long lines. I like taking the ferry there.

This was such a cool idea!! I'm a native New Yorker and I used to always tell people one of the best ways to enjoy the city is by walking. You get to really see and feel the vibe of the city. I currently live in Amsterdam, Netherlands and have been exploring my new home but I may have to do something similar here. I've walked the entire canal ring, but never thought of walking the full length of the city. This was a fun blog to watch!

Walking is one of my favorite things about NYC!! I live in Detroit and while the downtown area is super walkable, the rest of the city isn't. You did so well!! That's a lot of steps 😅

@@nk.medani It has really turned around in the last 10 years! It's no New York , but there are SO MANY new cafes, restaurants, hotels, etc.. lots of nightlife. It's fun being a tourist in my own city. 😆

I love that you did this. Now I don't feel like I'm the only one that did this. I walked from where I live in the bronx to mid town Manhattan three times and it killed my legs. Talk about blisters and being sore for days. I never did it again. I was curious to see how far I can walk. Now I know.

Omg, from where you started to Times Square, that's a marathon. That's so far. But I commend you, the girlie's is prioritizing our fitness and wellness, and I love to see it. Sometimes I walk/run from Washington Bridge to Macombs Dam Bridge. For me that's a lot, i need more endurance 😩

Thank you! I really underestimated this activity! And I should have started in the morning, but I know for next time! I think 100 streets isn’t too bad for my first try! And you’re not alone - I need more endurance as well

You should try the Great Saunter next year with Shorewalkers. It’s a 32-mile walk around the perimeter of Manhattan. It goes up along the Hudson then downtown along the Harlem/East River. I did half of it 20 years ago.

Love this! I would love if you included time stamps at each checkpoint to see how realistic how long it takes you throughout the day. Also maybe a visual of the map at each checkpoint so we can see in New York where you are
