Thanks. I totally agree. The first thing I put on our long term unit was a rearview mirror. I DO NOT understand why they don't come on every single machine sold...

Of course it depends on where you live but there are kits available to add the blinkers, horn, e-flashers to make them legal in certain states. We did a video on making our RZR street legal and plan on doing one for this machine as well.

A friend lead a ride at the Rocky Mountain Jamboree on the Paiute Trail. At the top of a very long, steep climb every RZR was getting so hot the plastics were melting.... But Polaris still sells about 5 times as many UTV as any body else.

Yes at coal creek in TN it's 90 percent Polaris now. Saw about 10 teryx and 3 rhino there today with about 8 can-am.

The pricing of everything (especially the ATVs and UTVs) is getting insane, I agree! It makes buying a used Jeep look better all the time. I bought a used Land Cruiser with 90K miles in excellent condition for about 1/2 the price of this Teryx. I miss the TV money but certainly not the schedule ;-)

Oh perhaps having been testing them since they came out, or the fact that we spend a lot of time on the Paiute Trail where we see hundreds and hundreds of vehicles every year, or the fact that there are multiple rental companies that put thousands of miles on their rentals and we get to see what holds up and what has problems....

And it can be street legal so you could actually go on trips to the back country. I live where a person can leave their house on their ATV and ride for thousands of miles.......but if I lived where I had to haul out to ride every time I certainly rather have a 4x4 vehicle.

Is there any talk about the pricing of these unit? It's getting outrages. And I just put a mirror in my rzr 800. $84 for a rear view mirror is a little insane considering I think it is a major safety item. Great videos. Wish I could wath ur show in tv again

I suppose the key to that question is how much money you have ;-) For me, the danged things are so expensive to start with - I'd have to keep it..... So, the changes are all good (except for the colors - and that alone might keep me from trading up) but none that would be deal makers for me.

Yamaha has not responded to our request for a test unit.... Perhaps they know my thoughts on the strange 3-wide seating and the out-dated engine ;-) Of course perhaps a loaner unit might prove my thoughts wrong.

Getting a 2014 teryx 2 for 12500$ that's my limit!! I'd like to have the power of the razr and canam but don't have the money for them. Especially to repair them. I want the Rex for its reliability and affordability.

really??? i guess that's chevy, ford, dodge(corvette, mustang, eco boost f-150's, viper) etc. use horsepower/torque figures in commercials and ads to sell their vehicles as opposed to just giving percentages.

@ATVTVCOM

Quentin Raffensperger Can Am is a very technological-thinging company so their ATVs and UTVs have a lot of technical features - assuming you are into more electronics and gadgetry ;-) That technology is also what keeps them from being as reliable as some of the Japanese models.

enough with the percentage increases in HP and torque. give us the damn numbers instead. i'm sure i'm not the only one out here interested in the actual numbers instead of percentages. the percentage increases mean nothing if we don't know what the numbers are to begin with.

I hope Kawasaki see's to adding the (VT system and engine,,,sorry letter ( is broken,,,to a future Brute atv!! If they did that I would think about trading in my KQ750 for one of those. I prefer the (entrigual system on a (VT over the "belt slammers",,lol! It is smoother, and works great for bad terrain getting over things. Lets hope Kawasaki implements this to the BF line.

I should add though that out of the non (entrifigual atvs the Kawasaki always seemed to be the best. i had an 05 Prairie 700 that was and still is a great atv..mmm if they update it as I hope they do I would probably just keep my good old KQ as it still operates as new and give it to my son,,,and get the new Brute for me,,lol!
