I like both closed back and open back headphones, and I dislike open back and closed back headphones too. Love that you are reviewing headphones among all the cool stuff you present.

Hi Timothy, yes - both have pluses and minuses. The first time you listen to open-back planar magnetic 'phones, the depth and breadth of the soundstage can be mind-blowing! But when around others on a bus or a plane, that doesn't work well. We plan on more headphone reviews - a fun part of our industry

Hello, I just want to use one earphone and don't want to be tired of switching devices all the time depending on the type of music. I listen to 80% classical and 20% jazz and pop. I I think I like mm500 very much, and I think the instrument part is quite good, and the vocals are in the front, so the female voice sounds good. Do you recommend other headphones at this level? I think the Sound Stage of the mm500 is ok. For classical music, the instrument is not too modified and artificial, the low-frequency dive is enough for jazz. I'm still looking for a sound I like, maybe you can give me some advice or other information.

Hello Min, it seems the MM-500 is satisfying to you when you listen to the type of music you like. We're really impressed with it at its price point. In some ways, 'phone listening can be even more personal than speakers, so go with your gut. If you like the comfort as well, take the plunge with one of the most positively reviewed headphones we've seen in a long time. People love their MM-500's
