After watching, I totally agree about the blue pad from rupes. Working with it was a revelation with great cut finish and ease of use. I found 2 of 6 6inch pad and 3 of the 6 3 inch started to delaminate. Very disappointing. Another fundamentally great video with great explanations on use and products....... Love from the uk Mark

Hi Sandro well that was certainly in depth , The testing on the bonnet was very interesting but if your at home doing it and you polished your vehicle in a usual way, with an micro finer applicator and buffed off with microfiber cloths could you really tell if you had the imperfections that you could really see when you showed the paint finish inside. I couldn't get over what most of us think is a good job that we have done, the Audi was a prime example of what it can really look like you could spot the difference in the closing shots. The last application you use on the sponge was unbelievable and you pointed out that it protects the clear coat very interesting and something we should use. Decontamination of the paint work starting to catch on what that is all about, I would like to know how you can do it at home, I have a Makita polisher which I used for a boat I use to own it's like brand new what pads would you suggest and there is that thing on the rev that you use? Anyway I could talk to you all day as I find it fascinating especially the chemistry side of it and that they are not just bottles of polish, as soon as I have used mine up I am going to invest in some of what you use, thank you one day when I am back over there I would love you to do mine thanks mate John

Well yet again another very in depth video and that final result...........WOW!!!!! GLOSS GLOSS GLOSS. So you used EVO and I am impressed!!!!! So you mentioned you can put over say Cquartz UK which I have purchased but not applied yet as I am still compounding car. If you were to coat EVO over CQUARTZ would there be extra benefits achieved???? Or just use EVO alone???? Speaking of polish I got some TLC and using it with Buff & Shine ERO microfiber pads after first trying Car Pro Clear cut........WOW. It really finishes brilliant. I thought clear cut was good but TLC is bit brighter. Also purchased a HDO blue pad to use with Precision as a one step polish to try out. Also in the sunlight after compounding at least with Clear Cut I can just make out some very light swirl marks so would TLC take care of these using microfiber or would I still have to finish off with a finishing foam pad using Clarity or my FG3500 I possess???? Got some Concours Pyro for the wheels when I finish them off so I have been LASHING OUT because of your bloody great results in the videos. Maybe I better not watch any more so I can save some money!!!!!!LOL. Seriously saves money as I can buy straight up the gear that works. Have a good Easter.

Hey mate, found the video. Just wondering on a very hot day like we are having now when you apply EVO how long will take to flash and what do I look for??? Also when you buff off is it like polish or has a slightly sticky feel to it???? Funny enough when I read the bottle instructions on EVO, it says you can apply another layer which I thought it was a one coat only product. Is there any point doing a second coat Sandro??? I really enjoyed this video as it shows such a range of products and procedures. Shared it with people to give them a sense of what a proper detail entails. Cheers Sandro and Merry Christmas.

All these years on Sandro what pads would you say are the most durable overall?
@CarCraftAutoDetailing
2 жыл бұрын
It’s really hard to say as all pads used for heavy cutting never last as long as all pads used fur lighter polishing so how the pad is used greatly determines its durability. I think Shine Mate pads overall last quite a while, the Meguiars also seem durable as a whole.

The hybrid purple foam wool pad. Ive been thinking of getting them for a one step because they cut and finish good as well. Hi Sandro, thanks for producing another outstanding video. Couple of questions for you. I noticed you applied EVO to the window seals, is this a normal thing? I would’ve thought a glass coating would harden the seals thereby making them less effective. Also, in this particular case, what was the time between application and levelling/wipe off? Thanks in advance. Looking forward to seeing the results during the maintenance wash. Will you apply Gliss at this point (You mentioned a good week of cure time)?

Car Craft Auto Detailing yes. Less heat and a smoother rotation on curves is always welcome but as you mentioned, not with the added financial cost of extra pads. It’s strange because there yellow & white foam pads are absolutely amazing, yet the rest of the range seem very poor. The newer Mille slim line pads haven’t had the best reviews either.
