I was home this year and sang in the Soprano section on this recording..Salem Baptist Church Omaha Nebraska the church I was born into and raised in and will forever be grateful for this. We had a one of a kind choir director in Doreatha Wade and we were blessed to have been nominated for a Grammy. Precious memories

I found this album and a few more of Rev. Cleveland at Goodwill with no scratches on them, I felt as though I found a treasure. This man can make you forget all your problems that life has given you.

reminds me of my momma. This was one of the many records that she would spin on the turntable every Sunday morning. Man I can smell the pancakes and bacon cooking! Rest on momma(1940-2015).

Rev Cleveland speaks of the 82 year old woman and her faith. That sent chills down my spine. I think of the older people in churches all over the world. Is it me or do young people kind of snub the old saints. Do the young consider the older church members past their prime? I can testify that I learned a lot listening to an older Sister or Brother talking of the "Hard Times" and how, through Faith in God, they persevered. My mother is 97 years old and tried to teach her 9 children to believe in God and speak the truth. I am sure I have failed her many, many times. But I also know that my Mother's Faith has been a Rock of Ages in my life. There was always a comfort knowing my Mom was praying fervently for her children. I don't know what I will do when she finally passes but I am very grateful for the gift she has given.
