I am working in an Unreal Engine 5.1 project, and I want to import a facial animation from Audio2Face, and even though I have already installed the connector for UE5, I don't have the option "Import Facial Animation". Do you know why this may be happening?

There is only option for importing USD animation,I am also facing this issue, did you solve it yet?

@@candi1001 Hi, Candi. Sorry for the delay in my reply. Yes, I went to NVIDIA's forums and posted a topic asking for help on this issue. They said: "We combined A2F animation and USD animation into Import USD animation, you can select the animation type in the importer dialog of Connect 202.1. For your case, you should select Audio2Face MetaHuman Curves". That means, no more Import Facial Animation option available in Unreal Engine. Instead, we need to select "USD Animation Importer", and when the dialogue box opens, under "Animation / Animation Source", we need to select "Audio2Face MetaHuman Curves", and click "OK". I did that and was able to make my MetaHuman's face and lips move according to the USD file I saved from Audio2Face. I hope this helps 😊

@@MR_GFX Thank you for getting back to me, Mr GFX 🤗. Yes, I do have the plugins and connectors installed, but it seems the option “Import Face Animation” has been removed. Completely disagree. This produces robotic results. Just record yourself speaking the same audio and you can map your performance to any model with the default tools. Play the recording instead of audio from the performance capture. It makes absolutely zero sense to generate animation procedurally like this. It even takes longer to get worse results. Just record yourself speaking the lines, play the original audio, done with built-in five minute workflow.

i use cinematics to take a face animation with head bobbing,but when i put it in sequence ,the head bobbing do not work, i just see the animation of eyes and mouth.(i use the same metahuman)

Hi, thanks for the video but I am having an issue when rendering the sequence. The head movement animation doesn't show up while rendering but the character has the mouth animation. I don't know how to fix this.

Close unreal and open it again , if the problem still working remove animation usd face and insert it after body motion, And make sure you dont have transform under face component
