My 15 Road glide front end jumps side to side. Sometimes it's extremely aggressive. I have to keep both hands on the bars to maintain full control. I can't let go of the bars to zip up jacket or adjust my gloves without the bars jumping side to side. I've changed the tires, tighten the triple tree and even changed to different wheels to eliminate any possibilities. I am now hoping that you have discovered what the problem is. Thanks for the video. You always provide great content.

I can not discover over the Internet. Being a 15 I worry about wheel bearings, rear swingarm bearings. Yes rear can make the front swing. Neck bearing replacement, old fork oil or a leaking fork. Accessories that should not be on a Harley. Suspension in the back modified to be lowered ( lowering blocks) Could be these or more…..Doc

2005 FLHRCI 78,000 miles. On 3rd set of rear isolators and 4th front one. I have learned that the front ones from Harley do not live long if you get motor oil on them. My bet is that the new double front style are the same way. Oil destroys them.

2006 Street bob. I replaced the inner primary bearing because it was starting to go. Now after reassembly it is acting like a bad composator. It did not do that before disassembly. I torqued everything per the 2006 street bob service manual 160 ft-lbs on the bolt with the proper tool between the teeth to lock everything (not the chain wedge) what else could be causing the specific vibration at 2k-2.3k rpm only. Everywhere else is smooth. Bike has 7k miles. New front motor mount. Is it worth spending $1k to upgrade to the newer compensator? Thanks for all the great advice over the years Doc!! You videos are indispensable. PS, I know it has the proper oil level from watching yous video multiple times

Service records show front motor mount replaced around 28k checked good ,rear checked good .what's your thoughts ? Ordered top vibration damper .other than that after 15 mph ,smooth ,primary chain comp sprocket in order ,thank you jp

You do realize you own a wonderful classic motorcycle? It will never be completely smooth at idle like the new bikes with counter-balancer and 4-point rubber isolation. HD decided it was best to “balance” the flywheels so the smooth ride was above idle. I am sorry to report the “new” front rubber mount is designed and made with a harder rubber compound to last longer. You could check the front mount center bolt. Remove the regulator, loosen the bolt and nut almost completely. Take your hand and move the bolt up and down. There should be NO binding. If there is follow the service manual on adjusting. Same check with the bolt in the center motor mount. The un obvious is if the Intake seals are leaking allowing the motor to run lean or the timing is off. Both making the motor struggling to run.. just thinking outside the box….Doc

Also, it’s hard to get a service guy to look at it especially if you’re under an extended warranty they don’t want to pay for it. At least that’s my experience. You have to get in an argument which I don’t need. Extended warranty is very expensive. My bike has close to 60,000 miles on it Suspension is war out I imagine as a fear of the things. Thanks again. Appreciate your insight. Hey what’s your take on the 117 kit for a twin cam? Are they still making them? I know they were on back order Reno I want to put the money up for one. It’s time to freshen up my mother, because I do not want to buy a new CVO’s perfectly happy with my beautiful CVO’s ultra limited
