I grew up in North Carolina and we had a huge concrete goldfish pond with a nice water fountain in the center and the ground around the pond was always covered with lily pads so I spent many years catching tadpoles and different spiders and actually that was where i found my first pet snake at the age of 14 an injured baby Water Moccasin.

At first I also thought that salamanders should have a water pool but then again I keep desert reptiles like bearded dragons, Uromastyx ,leopard geckos and steppe runners Anyway very cool animals .I'm trying to get fire bellied toads and newts as well as a tropical lizard like a crested gecko , Chinese water dragon ,green anole or a long tailed lizard.
