I'm a sucker for omnibus editions too. There's just something great about giant books with a whole series inside that I am very attracted to.

Hey Emily! You need to read My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologies by Fredrik Backman before reading Britt-Marie. She's a side character from that book. The first book in the shatter me trilogy is terrible. After reading the fist book I gave up on the trilogy. But then I got a spoiler on a channel that I hadn't see coming at all from the fist book so I got curious. Then I read the rest and fell in love. Of course it's not the best book you'll ever read. Now that time has passed I can see some flaws but it kept me entertained and the rest of the books are much much better. I'm actually excited to see how you'll feel about them. You should definitely pick them up soon. Just a warning: it's definitely romance heavy, which I'm really into, but if it's not your thing perhaps you won't like it as much.

The Shatter Me trilogy and the Grisha trilogy were decent reads (although I don't think I felt the same amount of love for them as they seem to get on Booktube). My US mate was like "They ripped us off, those bastards!!!" when he found out that The Magician books (the ones you have in this video) are actually just one book here in AUS and I think the UK. Like for us in Australia its a trilogy, for US & Canada it is like a quadrilogy... dunno why they split it its only like 600-700 pages long, make more bank I guess... So realistically you did actually just get the first book.

Hi Emily ! :) I'm from Belgium so I'm gonna reply in french if it's okay because I can read and listen everything in English but when I have to speak or write it's pretty disastrous! :p So... ;)

I wouldn't usually correct your English but you did seem a bit confused when reading Siege and Storm, so maybe it'll help idk. Siege is pronounced like "seege" in English. I actually can't think of a word it rhymes with that isn't also super awkwardly spelled and uncommon so I don't know how else to describe its pronunciation lol. The entire Shatter Me series was cringy and painful to read. I honestly don't know how/why I read the whole thing. I guess I kept hoping it would get better.
