We already know how excited I am to be reading together again! Huzzah! Also really excited about our Sisterhood of the Traveling Book ! I had forgotten about the Hind's Feet Readalong. That book is so dear. It's one of my fondest, nostalgic memories. If I can find Girl who kept the castle I may read with you 2.

Well, I truly admire that you stuck with Genji and will complete it. 😊 I hope you enjoy The Red and the Black. I read that same edition over 20 years ago. It was quite the soap opera from what I recall. After taking an entire month to read Vanity Fair and some other quiet reads, I'm going for shorter page-turners to fill out your bingo board next month - starting with James by Percival Everett.

The Importance of Being Earnest is so much fun. If you can, watch the 2002 movie with Colin Firth & Judi Dench. The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter & Sweet was OK. But I understand how books sit on the shelf--I still haven't read Peace Like a River by Leif Enger, which has been here for *years* even tho everyone says it's wonderful (including you, I think)!

I’ll have to look up the movie! I’ve heard that one is a great adaptation! I had Peace Like a River on my shelves for years too, until I finally read it last year. I’m glad I finally read it, because I really did love it! There are so just too many books and so little time to read them in 😂

Yes! Did I not send you the graphic? Quite a few of the months with era 2 have short stories or novellas paired with them. If you buy Arcanum Unbounded, it has all of the stories you’ll need! (And a few that correlate to Stormlight Archive if you go on to that) I don’t have my copy of Alloy of Law, so I’ll let you know when I get it! I’m not going to schedule out my reading for that or Grapes of Wrath too much, because I have several other books that are scheduled. I learned earlier this year that if I do that with too many books, I hit a reading slump HARD 😂 but I’ll let you know when I’m getting ready to start Alloy of Law and Grapes of Wrath!

@@beautifulminutiae did I see the graphic? Yes, months ago. Did I remember details? You do know me, right? Lol. Thanks for the heads up on the collection! I’ve added it to my Amazon cart. Yes, I intend to delve deeper into the Cosmere. I’m thoroughly enjoying his writing. Though his books hurt my wrists, so I’m wondering if I should invest in a book pillow to hold them for me. I’m half tempted to get a Kindle for his stuff. Less painful and less space. But can I bring myself to do the unspeakable?? 🤯

@sandysimon1947 if Mistborn hurts your wrists, Stormlight will demolish them 😂 I think the shortest Stormlight book is 1000 pages, but some are 1300! The newest one coming out in December apparently tests the boundaries of binding limits 😂

@@beautifulminutiae I will let you know if it's good. I did like Chautona Havig's Twice Sold Tales, which has a homeschool family as regular patrons of a bookstore. They aren't main characters, but it was good to see a homeschool family portrayed as normal and in a positive way.
