I used to listen to this song regularly with a bunch of college friends that ended up not being friends anymore... For a while after, it hurt to hear this song because I would think of the good times we had and how they were gone now. I would have never expected one of my favorite artists to cover this song and turn it into something so ethereal and light. It sounds crazy, but it felt like Aurora was almost begging me to come back to the song and learn to enjoy it again, but in a different way. I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't permanently cut off a song you used to enjoy because of other people ruining it for you.

Artists are regularly invited to NRK P3 to play one original song as well as a cover that NRK P3 chooses, the artists get to know which song they will cover an hour before broadcast. Considering the short time to practice, the result is absolutely brilliant

aurora and the band really said "we stayed on tiktok to much and we can't get this song out of our heads... let's make a cover" and they did it so well, in their amazing style, and aurora as always gave us the best vocals ever. out of a meme of a song. lovely
