southport97 yeah it's scary but it's people like her that are capable to change things in this case Aurora is changing music. She dares to bring up to the light the dark and personal part of life! She said in an interview thar she needed to write about her own and others emotions . Aurora will change and with her the music and she will discover that life also has a bright side to write about , but that will be done the Aurora way . Genius this lady ! Have a great day !

Fun fact: We were in the running to have our song be the end credits theme song of Mass Effect Andromeda. The lead composer was really into our song "Science" because it reminded him of the original ME's end credit song by The Faunts. But then the game was delayed. Then there was a studio take over from EA. They wanted to go in the direction of their choosing. The composer emailed me back telling me that he no longer holds any sway with the new crew. A two-year waiting process. Then the second I beat the game, I hear the end credit song. This song. At first I can't help but feel angry that we lost to this band but then.... I ACTUALLY listened. The hook of the song kicks in... Such. Beautiful. Vocals. Then I realize: This song was way better than ours. I then appreciate the fact that we were even in the running with a genius like Aurora. -L.S.C

She lets someone else produce a little but even that she wants to redo it herself afterwards. He says he’s “abit exasperated” that she wants to do everything herself. So, stop trying to put down an artist, honestly if you need to contradict every little thing someone says about an artist u know nothing of (if you did, you wouldn’t have even commented) then you should probably just get of the Internet. For both your sake and everyone else’s. And before u say I’m contradicting myself by “contradicting every little thing”, there’s a difference. I have a passion towards Auroras music. I appreciate her skill and try learn more about Aurora. I’m guessing you don’t. Because if you were passionate about Aurora you wouldn’t try put her down. Just because most mainstream artists basically only sing songs, doesn’t mean it applies to EVERYONE. Most of those artists have songwriters, and guess what, AURORA, EVER SINCE SHE WAS LITTLE, DID SONG WRITING, she never intended to become a singer, she only wanted to be a song writer. And guess what? She started playing piano when she was 6, her family didn’t even know, she found a piano in her attic that had a power on button that you had to hold down, so she learned BY HERSELF, at only 6 years old, using only one hand, to play piano. Her parents didn’t even know how engaged she was with music until she was about 14. She wrote her song “runaway” when she was only 11! Honestly, being discredited is the last thing Aurora needs, honestly, she needs way more credit.

GiRayne I agree with you completely on the game being overall a fun experience, and that EA should've pushed the release back, rather than deliver a game that felt it was still in beta stage. By "rocky start" I mostly meant the reception of the game. People tore it apart because of the bugs and the unpolished animations. I do feel the build-up was a bit slow, as I only felt particularly enthralled toward the last third or so of the game, with all of the revelations and twists. I thought the ending of the game was great, though, and I was really looking forward to the next chapter. Alas...EA has put the ME franchise on hiatus. I seriously hope they don't scrap it completely!! I need to see what happens next in Andromeda!

I never really listened to this song until this week, even though I love her entire discography. Before now, I could only recall the chorus. It wasn't until I was scrolling through her spotify last Saturday night that I actually stopped and listened to it. In the strange way our universe works, it was exactly what I needed to hear. My grandmother was very sick and died the next day. "They have only fallen asleep..." the words wrapped around my hurting heart like a hug I wanted so badly to feel from her, and even though her arms weren't really there, I still felt all of her love. This is what true art does

Nick Cross Even though it was the first game, I felt really attached to the characters and got really emotional when the credits rolled because the story was just so good and then top it off with this great song. In total both this song and Andromeda are amazing.

I agree with both of you Nick Cross and Bryce Bowen, I finished the game a couple of days ago and I loved it!! I nearly cried at the end, it was so emotional and the characters are amazing. And the song was wonderful, really fitted with the idea of sleeping colonists and finding a new home =)

You should really play the original Mass Effect games. At least start with Mass Effect 2, because the combat is a chore in ME1. But honestly, the characters in Mass Effect 2 were the best ones ever in any game ever. Period. Also there is a short interactive comic before the actual story starts, so you can still make the most important choices of the first one. :)

There is something so beautiful and ethereal about her music. This song is absolutely breathtaking, and somehow so vibrant and chilling simultaniously. I love her.

Your song resonates with what Mass Effect: Andromeda trying to achieve. Good job Bioware & EA for choosing her song for the credits. And Aurora, I love your songs, the writing and the melody is so good to. Andromeda Iniative approves. - Pathfinder Ryder

Everybody writing about how inspirational this is, how she should be more famous, how they came from Mass something, and how she could be a special creature while I’m sitting here admiring her hair.🤷🏾♀️
