Immigrating is hard. A test video for a game I made out of my sketches and in CryEngine when I first moved to Germany to capture the feeling of being an outsider. www.nassault.com
Thanks everyone for sticking with me. Moving across the world alone has thrown me for a loop and turned the world upside down.

I read the comment you wrote about not sticking to ace combat anymore I speak for myself, but many will probably agree that we're all eager to see what you can make outside of these limits, and we don't see it as a bad news You have serious talent, deciding to be more free in your approach is a choice that makes perfect sense Good luck, and most importantly, keep having fun making these !

@@Nassault Would be brilliant if you could finish it someday. 1st generation immigrant here - living in Britain detached from my culture but growing up with this country's has been an indescribable experience. I'm sure your game would be incredibly valuable to a lot of people. If there are ever any things you could use community help for - voice acting, music, whatever - I'd love to help

Thank you for sharing, and big ups for immigrating yourself. Admittadly for me it was for work and a personal choice, but going through the process like everyone else and hearing stories from those in line with me at the Auslanderamt at 6AM to hopefully get a ticket has certainly opened my eyes to the human aspect of it all. For many people it isn't a personal choice to want to move but a neccesary one. Intergration couses here are a bit finicky but certainly important and really helpful. If I ever move forward with it I'd love to reach out to you, cheers!@@quantifygg

The papercraft style combined with the glum grey mood in 3D looks gorgeous. I felt like I was watching Don't Starve be done better than Don't Starve. Great song choice, great angles, great pacing, and the making-of section towards the end elevated this to something ethereal and whimsical feeling for me and really made everything mean more to me than the sum of its parts. Nice one.

Thanks brother. I want to make more random content again. Less rigid KZitem algorithm BS, less one-dimensional channel shtick. The channel used to be more open to random little posts like this. So now, sometimes Ace Combat, sometimes WWII, sometimes race cars, sometimes deserts, trains, animations. You get it. I've felt a lot of pressure to stick to one thing to retain a portion of an audience, but fuck it. It was about me in the beginning anyway. Figured I would share this since it's an important part of my work/life, even if it is somewhat simple and not really clear.

It was embaressing the first time I tried pronouncing Rewe. So I based the parody of it off of my first attemps to pronounce it. Almost as embaressing as when I said "B-M-W" to my girlfriends German father. I can still hear him...."HA! Double U?! Das ist Vee!" Hahaha. Thanks azralan!
