the common way to eat the beef jerky is that you squeeze some lime juice all over and give the shred jerky a bit of a toss. another way is making some instant noodle and add the jerky to eat together with some lime juice.

Vietnamese snack *bring Thai tamarind candy and Indonesia coffee candy* imma die of laughter right here😂 Suggestion candies: Ben Tre coconut candy( instruction: since the candy so sticky, you usually see 2 layers of warpings: first layer is paper wraping, remove it. Second layer wraping is edible super thin rice paper; because is so sticky that tightly stick to normal paper, they put the candy in the rice paper so it stick to it and they eat whole piece without ripping paper)

I've lived in Vietnam for seven years and have never seen someone eat a shrimp stick like that. Little shrimp balls yes but never on a stick in that way.
@DirigiblePlum
Жыл бұрын
@@jeffcollins9860 it's called chạo tôm. Outside of Vietnam you can easily find it in almost every restaurant but I'm pretty sure it's more of a special occasion type of food in Vietnam. Anyways, I think these type of snacks are more for the Viet-Aussie experience which I find aligns with my experience, even though I'm from North America. Though I do agree with op that the sugarcane shrimp is more of an app than snack.

Squeeze some lime juice on your beef jerky, and you'll be in heaven. Avocado shake you can add coconut or vanilla ice cream, to elevate it a bit more. And we prefer to deep fried the black sesame rice papers, Idk how to say it but it more tastier with a bit of oil, well anything deep fried will always better isn't it? :))
@myka7101
Жыл бұрын
Oh and another way to enjoy the Avocado shake is instead of blending it, you can add condense milk and a bit of fresh milk, then smash your avocado and mix them together, then put some ice in and then enjoy. It'll be chunky, and not too sweet, you can still taste the avocado since it won't be blended with other ingredients
