Austin Rivers says he doesn’t want undue pressure or hate coming Bronny’s way. He doesn’t want Bronny disrespected by players or media saying his skills didn’t earn him a place in the league. Everyone else in response comes back disrespecting Austin Rivers saying he didn’t earn his place in the league anyway, his daddy didn’t have him at the right time, etc. They effectively proved Austin Rivers’ point. Not understanding the disrespect for a guy who didn’t want someone else to experience the disrespect he continues to receive. 🤷🏾♂️

There was nothing wrong with what Austin Rivers said IMO. He wasn't hatin on Bronny or anyone, he was just giving an objective opinion. But people especially in the media, who can't handle anybody saying anything that even smells like it could be a criticism or negative comment about LeBron or anyone connected to him, can't help but take it the wrong way and then attack Rivers as a result. It's insane how we can't even respectfully disagree or discuss different POV like that anymore.

He is a freshman coming off trauma. The fact he already playing is one thing. True below average scorer, yes. He is not the guy that get those shots. His defense and passing is ready for the league, his body is ready. Everybody only talk about scoring. In the league he has to be able to knock down shots coming to him from the best player being doubled and make cuts to the basket. He do need to stay and develope scoring in of year next season he'll will be ready

Nothing wrong with Austin's opinion, everyone has one. Technically it might seem like the same scenario. Austin River's I think was drafted #2 and didn't really have a good NBA career, Bronny might not even be good enough for the NBA, but will only get there, because of his dad. We shall see ..

I already see this for what it really is Austin wasn't wrong but of course people don't want to see that they want to see a train wreck with Lebron and Bronny so they can crap on Lebron more oh I told you he wasn't any damn good look at him only here because of Lebron oh Bron you 4-6 in finals. Stephen Jackson a known Lebron hater all of a sudden jumping on Austin bro shut up you a known hater we're living in the Skip generation not Skip Bayless where people want to look at someone's endgame career instead of looking at the results that helped people reach the pro status in said career. Ok Austin Rivers was a consensus 5-star recruit James a 4 star Austin was the best player on his team in high school and led them to state titles Bronny never did that Doc was coaching in the NBA while Austin was doing his thing in high school I'm sorry coach K don't recruit scrubs oh he coached at legendary Duke who I hate with a passion you know that school 8 miles from another legendary program called North Carolina and was the best player on Duke 16 points a game hit a game winning 3 in Chapel Hill still sick from it. Where'd Bronny go USC damn not UCLA the team with 11 titles and two recent final four trips averaging 5.9 a game I know he had a heart scare and damn it was bad and glad he's recovered but Austin was more NBA ready than Bronny like I said people want to see Bronny fail so they can make fun of LBJ.

You said multiple times Doc Rivers was IN the NBA, like drafted, because of his dad. No one said that. What people are saying is that Rivers survived in the NBA because of his dad. There was a time where no one was willing to even sign him until his dad Doc, who was Clippers coach and GM at the time, signed Austin. Then (and I think even CP3 and Blake said something about this) Doc gave away Austin a ridiculous counteract that no one would’ve come near matching, just to get him paid. That’s why you hear former players ragging on Austin Rivers. Not because of what he did out of his HS. He went to Duke and I believe he was a 5 star or very close as a highly rated 4 star. He might’ve been a McD AA too but I could be wrong about that.

Austin Rivers is right, and Lebron has already made it ridiculous for his son. “Bronny could already play on the lakers” that’s not true. He’s not even good enough to be drafted right now. Let him develop in college and come find his own way. There is nothing wrong with that. And all these people going after him for saying his opinion is ridiculous. Perk is an idiot, he learned nothing playing with the greats he did, KG Pierce Allen. It’s the Divas he played with after that gives him a sense of entitlement, and forgets what’s it’s like to earn something. He just yells over everyone so you can’t even hear their side of it. They need to just take him off tv

Perkins just talked over Rivers because rivers let him, when others who speak better and more proper than him he gets like how rivers did and go quiet, rivers went quiet because perkins over stepped the boundary. Perkins is just a peice they use to try and keep the show lively tjats it, he flip flops on when he guesses wrong, and I cant wait to see what he says about the lakers if they make it far in the playoffs, because not because Iam a fan of that team but I been watching basketball and can see a team get better but to be continued! Ps. Perkins got picked because of his size every team van use a big body for fouls, also what round Perkins was drafted anyone?
