Thankyou, fairly interesting as the gun laws are confusing. I always wanted to own and live rural and the feral animal control was and still is a part of my plans. Knowing the 22 bolt action is atainable as are the other firearms for such purposes is good to know.

Hi Aaron, Thanks for the video I have booked my cat h safety course with you. Here are somethings that might have changed since you uploaded this video: *Button & Lever release shotguns in Queensland are Cat B not Cat A *Cat C firearms are also available to collectors with Cat C they must be temporarily inoperable (trigger lock) *In Queensland you can have a centerfire rifle with a magazine capacity of up 15 rounds (bolt action only)

South Australia is the only state to allow Cat D firearms without a gun license if they’re permanently disabled.. so you could in theory ask a dealer to acquire and then deactivate one for you

Legally you could but police will stand in the way all for a block of metal. Wish you guys could 3D print replica glocks.

There’s some footage out there of a guy 10 years ago in Australia shooting full auto Brens and vickers guns. How is that possible?

He was probably a dealer who can own full auto.

I find it utterly absurd that we cant own avest here in australia. I realise its super bloody low risk to ever need it here but if you were a regular shooter at a club i could understand, incase of projectile rebound or something. Really cant understand why we cant own them I bet that its not illegal to own the kevlar fibre but is it.

Where does a Glock 34, which I am looking at getting into for target shooting ( or 17 or 19) fall in the categories? Are the categories different in Victoria? Thanks in advance for your help.
