The Radetzky class semi-dreadnought have always fascinated me,And the contrast between that class of battleship and Interwar era Deutschland-class pocket battle ship really highlights how far technology have advanced during those time.

Was this a 20 minute video Dr Clarke? Well an Hour and 20 minutes but still there is 20 minutes in there somewhere :) Close enough we wont argue. These were very interesting ships and like so many other "What If: scenarios the possibilities are endless.

In defense of Radetzky's being semi-dreadnoughts (contrary that there was a proposal for them to have the wing turrets as single 30,5cm - ie. 12"-ish - instead of 24cm/9,4") it has to be noted, that the K.u.K. Kriegsmarine had a class markedly superior to whatever Italy had and was to have at the time. Same with the Tegethoffs and the Ersatz Monarch class. Also, the Skoda 30,5cm fired cca. 450 kg shells (around 1000 lbs) while the 12"/L50 guns of the St Vincent, Colossus and Neptune classes fired 850 lbs (ie. a tad under 390 kg) shells. Both gun designs came into service in 1910

Again the Radetzkys: Austro-Hungary being (one of) the world leading powers in household electric appliances, generally covered the ships in electric lights, literally shining as a Xmas tree on steroids. It was a well noted spectacle in the 1900s and 1910s.

You asked "What if Goeben and Breslau had gone to Austria", a more interesting What If is what if they'd gone to Italy? Italy is technically a German Ally, but she is neutral and trying to stay that way. If Italy interns them then the allience is toast, AND if Germany wins the war (and at this point thats still a distinct possibility) Italy is in trouble v a German/Austrian allience post war. If however they don't intern them then the British and French will be having words, and if they declare war over the breach of neutrality then Italy has a lot of exposed coastline that suddenly needs protecting. Italian government faced with "interesting" and difficult decision.

A good dose of sugar ONCE IN A WHILE won't do any harm. I read recently that a physician colleague even got his kids -voluntarily- to abstain from sugar for 2 weeks in a row. After that time your craving will be much reduced and you can enjoy (a little) sugar more

Speaking of the linguistic capabilities of the Austro-Hungarian officers, I'd read more than one account that suggested the army had a great deal of difficulty with this. So were the Navy better at recruiting multilingual officers, or has the army's language issues been exaggerated over the years?

A bit of both, as the navy's need for technical capabilities tended to trump birth status, combined with its lower political standing and well they had more freedom in officer recruitment to ensure capacity.

I have several books about the Hapsburg navy, but there really isn't much information on this subject in English.
