Thank you Because that's the same question I was about to ask. How do you know when you need to use the magnet ? Do you need it to program Honda sensors ?

Hi. Do you need that megnet for programming? What exactly is that round magnet for?
@RollingTardis

The magnet is used to trigger some but not all TPMS Sensors. Also used for certain vehicles that need a magnetic relearn procedure.

Question : is it possible to re-program wheels / tires with different frequency ? For example from 315mhz to 433 mhz ?
@RollingTardis
2 ай бұрын
The sensor can be 315 or 433 or both combined in one sensor. It is not possible to take a 315 and make it 433 and vise versa.

@@RollingTardis thank you …. So 433 sensor on for example Jeep JK 2018, will work on a Jeep JL 2022 sensor ? If both are 433 ?
@RollingTardis

@@Edscomment The 433 will work. Just have the Relearn tool do the handshake from the sensor and TPMS computer.

My 2017 RX 350, I have summer and winter rims/ tires. Lots of used TS508 are available. I bought winter tires and rims from the lexus dealer, my understanding is 2017 and newer has only 4 storages available for sensor codes. The reality is $100 for reprogramming winter to summer ( each season change ) by the dealer. Is this able to read the winter TPM sensors and program my 2017 RX 350?

You will be able to reprogram your Winter and Summer Sensors yourself and save the 100! In about one, or year and a half years, the tool will pay for itself.

It would take 4 years to break even In CANADA-a local garage is selling it as it didn't work for them.Break-even, that is, provided it works! A 30-day money back guarantee, at under $250 Canadian would interest me. @@RollingTardis

Can you relearn any sensor or only the mx ones?
@RollingTardis
19 күн бұрын
Autel's TPMS tools can activate and read information from all current TPMS sensor frequencies: 315MHz, 433MHz and 434MHz TPMS sensors. This includes OEM Sensors. If the sensor on the vehicle is labeled as 434 MHz, select the 433MHz listing on the TPMS tool.

@@RollingTardis what are the steps to program a non mx sensor? With the magnet? Because when I try to obd2 learn it asks to use a mx sensor only
@RollingTardis
19 күн бұрын
@@MottyRuttner Autel TPMS tools can do everything on non-Autel sensors except program other company's blank unprogrammed sensors. When you buy a Dorman, Schrader, Denso etc from the auto parts store, you have to make sure they are the programmed. The only blank sensors that an Autel will program are Autel MX sensors.

Hi , This device can relearn OEM TPMS sensor por MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER 2009 ? thanks
@RollingTardis

Should be able to. The TPMS diagnostic & service tool specially designed to activate all known TPMS sensors, read TPMS sensor status, check TPMS system health condition, program MX-sensors and conduct TPMS relearn.

@@RollingTardis okay I ask you because my OUTLANDER is 2009, I had to change a TPMS valve but perhaps another one could be damaged and I would like to buy a tool to do it myself at home. I don't know if I need another tool to turn off the TPMS light.

I’ve done 1 million cars and I never had to use a magnet. I have the same one in fact it will pick up the car beside you. You ain’t careful.. But I’m just saying the hundred thousand cars I’ve done with that thing that’s the first time I ever seen the magnet used.
