Hey guys,
Today we bring to you a series of videos showing how to convert an automatic dodge w250 to a manual getrag 360 dodge w250. We recorded almost every step in doing a proper automatic to manual conversion for these trucks. Hopefully this helps anyone who is trying to do the same type of swap in these first gen dodge trucks.
Auto to Getrag Swap Complete Parts List:
-Getrag 360 transmission +bell housing & clutch fork + clutch for boot & bolts + mated np205 transfer case (auto and manual t-case different spline count),
-Correct length front and rear drive shafts +u-joints and hanger bearing
-Auto steering column (not necessary, just for different plastic shrouds)
-Clutch and Brake Pedal assembly with mounting rod+bushings & pedal pads
-Flywheel, clutch, pressure plate + mounting bolts (SBB 0090 stock replacement clutch & pressure plate)
-Throwout bearing & pilot bearing/bushing
-Lower+upper shift lever + knob for transfer case
-Shift lever for transmission + knob
-Lower boot & upper boot & trim plate for transfer case lever
-Lower boot & upper trim boot for trans shift lever
-CV joint boot for trans top lid (precision joints 2477)
-trans crossmember bushings (ANI-2667 & ANI-2668, 2 each)
-cargo light bezel for button on dash (to replace the overdrive off button)
-Clutch Master cylinder + reservoir + slave cylinder (one assembly), this needs to come with bracket that has 4 holes in it to bolt inside the cab to hold it in place
-plastic trim piece to replace and cover “prnd21” on gauge cluster
-heater hose + clamps to re-route bypass for auto trans cooler inlet/outlet
-trans fluid (overfill by a quart), t-case gear oil
