For those of you who use XREF or Block, there may be times when you don't need all XREF to be taken into your picture, especially if XREF is rather large. With the XCLIP command you can make a border around the area you want to display (such as a viewport) and the outside area "cut off".
1. XCLIP (enter)
2. Select XREF or BLOCK for which you want to apply XCLIP (enter)
3. N (enter) for new boudary
4. Then select the option to generate the XCLIP limit with Polyline or Rectangle
5. Select the part you want to appear
