I've watched knife banter for nearly 3 years now. When Austin left I didn't think much of it, Ben left and then announced the We Banter so again didn't think much of it. But now Zac and Jamie? Something is going on at BHQ. Either management is awful, or maybe the pay isn't good. But to the BHQ execs- you're fan base and consumers are noticing this, and at this point you're gonna start losing customers. Just a heads up.

I've ordered like 4-5 Kalashnikov models (standard, hawkbill, the Donut!, cleaver-style, and a couple others). Sure, I wouldn't baton w/ them or anything, but for under $50 they are killer little workhorse knives (and yes, I know I could get something "premium" for the combined cost but where's the fun in that?). They're also pretty modular so if you have more than one you can usually swap parts out to make frankenstein models.

I really like a lot of the automatics that have come out these past years. But for some reason knives with assisted opening is illegal in Norway. It happened during the late 80s. They where banned along with other "scary" things like nun-chucks. And this is kind of weird, because my house is full of guns and swords. All perfectly legal...
@theboostedbass5297
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah here in Virginia it’s illegal to have Autos, like I can open most of my knives with one hand about as fast as it takes an auto to open, but nope they’re just illegal to conceal carry so I can’t have any auto knife no matter how small, it’s stupid.
@ggmanatee
3 жыл бұрын
Automatic knives are illegal in my state but if I wanted to openly carry around a katana on my hip it would be perfectly legal. Same with firearms. I could carry around a medieval flail with no problems, but a little 2 inch protech would be a crime.

I thought they were going to give Jamie the knife he chose as a parting gift, bittersweet ending. Losing Ben and Zac was hard, now Jamie... Why even bother having a host at this point? It really reflects poorly on the company that you lost two hosts in a month without explanation. Without having a vested interest in your hosts I don't have a vested interest in your company and you become the same as every other knife dealership.

For everyone making a big deal about people leaving. Have you stopped to consider that the position these people get into with this company opens so many doors beyond what a middle man retailer with a YT channel can offer. Smaller companies can be great to work for but in manufacturing the truth is many times if you want to climb the ladder you need to go up the chain. The guys in marketing have a direct connection to every company that is larger than Blade HQ and probably has a lot more room for growth. Now days the average person doesn't spend more than 5 years at a job its just how the world works.
