Looks great man! Unfortunately my dash cracked for the first time yesterday 🙁 so I'm gonna be on the prowl for a nice used one.

Aw man, that sucks! Fingers crossed you find one, if not you can always try refinishing your current one.

Cool project you got going here! Just watched the SVR unbox. Have you installed it yet? Looking forward to that vid!

Love the color! I might be going the same route. Difference being I'm using zero guage for power and ground and using the secondary battery first. Then if I suffer power issues I'll go with the stronger alternator. Haven't visited their site yet, but was the color part of their options or did you specifically ask for blue teal? I love that color, but since my wagon is Dark Cherry Metallic, I'd go that route for the alternator...if needed/possible.

It's an option on their site. I'm doing the opposite as you. I got the alternator to keep up with everything and will be adding a secondary battery in the future.

Is the alt automatically set at 14.9 plug and play?

Did you crimpyour ground wire the to alt. Cause that ground lug they got on it has like screw threads in it
@AngelChavez-fz5nk

Hey bro if i was you remove that ground wire from your chassy, then run it to your ground post battery. The reason why i say that, is because you can fry the alternator.

The ground from the alternator to the chassis? I'm new to this, can you elaborate for me on how it would fry the alt?
@AngelChavez-fz5nk

@@RidinDirtyTX you get better current from your ground battery terminal. If you ground it on the chassy or block. Your not going get that good of a current. Do you have audio in your vehicle?

Did you have to use a smaller belt

Yes, you want to find a belt about a half inch smaller than OEM to accommodate the pulley.

Do you have any suggestions on what to do if I can't access my original Engine ground I can't find mine anywhere 3.9 L v6 buick lucerne. I was wondering if I could find my own ground on the engine and leave the stock one alone?
@RidinDirtyTX

Yessir, you’d be fine. Matter of fact that’s what I did. Factory ground was inaccessible without removing a lot of stuff, so I found another grounding point and used it.

@@diddlebrittle I would. Friend of mine bought one a couple of years ago and it’s still going as well. Granted both cars are not daily driven, but so far so good.
