They say 4th liners make great coaches but it feels like superstars like Sakic and Yzerman make great GMs. Being so skilled they know what it takes to play at that level as a superstar and can probably identify talent much easier.

To the fans booing ownership, I get you may not like the Kroenke family but we are lucky to have ownership in a small market like Colorado that is willing to spend salary cap money to bring in the best talent in the world to win Colorado a championship. Shame on you "fans" that booed them.
@neutralsportsfan17

Money doesn't win Stanley Cups. There's no reason to celebrate an owner spending at the salary cap when virtually every single team that actually has a chance does it. The Winnipeg Jets are the smallest market in the NHL and had the exact same team salary as the Avalanche last year. A lot of fans are frustrated with the TV situation that has been going on for years that Stan and his ownership group refuse to fix in a mid-market hockey friendly city.
@OneNationUnderGod.
Жыл бұрын
@@neutralsportsfan17 bullshit, the Avs are one of the smallest markets in the league. Until only recently they couldn't even sell out the Pepsi center except for original 6 games and Friday/Saturday nights. I've had season tickets for 6 years, so trust me I know. The Kroenke family could easily cash in on a mediocre team that's not even close to salary cap.

Because he is a well known piece of shit tied to the Waltons who made it impossible for a bunch of Colorado fans to watch this season due to their dispute with Comcast.
