KeezyDucky Games This comment is great. As an owner of two cats, I can confirm this comment’s accuracy.
The thing that I never managed to shake off was the fact that he was an actor. It just grinded me at the back of my mind that he wasn't as stupid and oblivious as he appeared to be because he had the skills to execute a nasty charade like that. Doesn't make him a bad villain though. The mere thought of having a case where I have to protect a culprit only to see them fall themselves was oh so very satisfying.

That means that they had been superstars since 18 or before - right out of high school.

Oh man, this theme will be burned into my memory for all time, ever since I first played this as a teenager. I've been wanting to return to these games for a long time, but knowing everything in advance turns the investigation parts into a bit of a drag unfortunately. As much of a masterpiece as these games are, they're also the type of game least suited to replaying. But recently I've stumbled over an immensely entertaining lp of this (by the awesome lucahjin, check her out, it's a load of fun) and watching someone go through all these twists and turns for the first time is truly spectacular. I just reached this part and simply _had_ to go look for the theme, because my _god_ does it bring back the feels (specifically the white hot burning motivation to get this fucker). A grade A theme for a grade A villain in a grade A game. 'Nuff said.
