Thanks for the review. I like Lido charts over the Jeppesen as well as Aviaplaner's clean interface over the Navigraph cluttered and laggy. Will switch from Navigraph to Aviaplanner now.

You could subscribe to the Navigraph NavData cycle alone (25/year, I think), which I have done, using the Aerosoft NDP charts until now. Would still be alot cheaper than Navigraph / Aerosoft, having more features than the Aerosoft service (which was interestingly announced to be discontinued in 2025 just a few days ago), having full MSFS compatibility without some of the fancy features that Navigraph has.

@SonicLiteX I don‘t think so. During the FSElite Interview with the CEO behind AviaPlanner, the CEO of Navigraph asked a pretty sharp question regarding a conflict of interest for the CEO. I think, they are worried about AviaPlanner as competition, as it will have way better value compared to Navigraph once it releases navdata integration in the coming weeks. It straight out challenges Navigraph for the #1 flight planning service for flight simulation. Even if you subscribe to Aviaplanner and Navigraph Navdata subscription (so you can use both Simbrief integration and LIDO charts), it will still be alot cheaper than the main Navigraph service. Navigraph will have to change their prices. I think that cooperation is unlikely.

As far as I know, most sids have an initial climb clearance, at least in Europe, I don't know about the USA. Take the AMLU1G SID in Hamburg (EDDH), for example. On the Jeppesen Chart on the right hand side is the routing, the initial climb clearance, when to call radar and so on.

They will provide their own AIRAC implementation for the sim, as I have understood it. I disagree. Chartfox does only have local „AIP“ Charts, and they are, as far as I know, not usually used in Airline / Business flights around the world. Also, they are different in each country. I have used Aerosoft NDP charts until now (which are only slightly cheaper than Navigraph) and I see myself using AviaPlanner in the future, as it has way more features and great value aswell. Interestingly, Aerosoft announced a few days ago, that they will discontinue their service in 2025, and it is pretty obvious why, if all of this isn‘t a big coincidence.
@infinitewisdom9619

It is better. Chartfox has local charts, which vary from country to country. Also, as far as I know, they are not used by airlines. LIDO charts are made specifically for airline pilots. As Aerosoft discontinues their NDPs next year, this will be the only way to get them as a simmer.

Quick suggestion here. I habe the Aerosoft NDP Charts (LIDO aswell). They allow you to print the charts (You can „print to PDF“ in Windows). You could buy them for one day and download / print all the charts you need in PDF. But it is one chart at a time, so you can‘t f.e. print everything from an airport at once.
