When we want to get better at our craft, sometimes we buy the wrong tools that sound cool, but cost us more than money. Opportunity cost of buying something is something to consider.
Eh I feel that this videos missin a crucial piece. I don't really buy into a lot of financial youtubers a lot but I really buy into Ramit Sethi's philosophy on spending money. You can spend on the things that you enjoy, but you have to be willing to ruthlessly cut out the things that you don't care about. When everything is a necessity, then the first thing you have to prioritize is getting your income up, which is hard, but the dividends returned from going from 30k to 60k to your first 100k is life changing no matter what social media will have you believe about a 6 figure income.

It's a good point, but some of us have these side projects and hobbies thinking that one day they will turn into something bigger with possible income. And that costs money. It's tough sometimes figuring out when to spend money and when not to. I just want to help people make the right decision for them.

When I worked for a newspaper back in the 80's, they used a Macintosh for doing the Retail Display Ads. Apple is well known for their computers doing Graphics and Video Work. But then again, I don't know if they have a Niche on the programs that one can use or not. The only issue with Apple Software is that they are probably won't work on a Windows 10 or 11 computer. No doubt that most KZitem people use Apple Computers and software to produce their video's. Are there Windows compatible programs that could do the job? That you would have to do some research on. Apple software and computers are very expensive. Yes, I have an Ipad Pro 12.9 with 1 TB of Disk Space. It is a M1 model. I use it for watching video's and reading books and viewing magazines. I don't use it as a work tool. I hope you find what you are looking for.

I think you’re right that most people doing KZitem probably use Apple. The advantage of Windows is they have so many more choices to fit your needs exactly. I wish I could have both lol.

They make it look so appealing and we get caught in the hype 😆.

I can tell you what you don't really need, any of Apple's products. Stick with Windows/Chrome/Android/Linux, in that order (if you are an amateur user).

You’re right but if someone is already in the Apple ecosystem it would be a pain having a windows computer. Apple makes it hard to leave.

@@ivanski3 I fail to understand that argument, I use an Android phone but a Windows machine. How are these two completely different (and I truly mean completely different, as Mac OS and IOS are Linux based, same as Android) providing me with everything I need, but it could not for others. One simple answer, Face Time. You can literally use any apps to achieve the same result. It's uneducated and uninspiring people that would rather stick with the preinstalled apps and only communicate with similarly minded people, as in, simple minded people. Eventually this will be regulated, and their apps will have to be available and be good on Android/Chome OS/Windows, and then Apple users will diversify.
