I just found you on KZitem. I am a 61 year old recent retiree looking for a new way to express my creativity. You are an amazing find and I've begun your 52 weeks series. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to years of inspiration!

Those powders are MAGIC! Thanks for showing us. Also, years ago an artist I was introduced to got me to thinking about priorities. I turned my largest bedroom into my studio and moved into the smaller one. A friend moved her studio into the dining room - a space that wasn't get much use. Decide what's most important in your life and honor it. Color outside the lines; think outside the box. Your art is worth it!

Thank you for sharing your approach to art. For this 52-week challenge I decided to just create and not judge my work. Learning how to build on it is so helpful. It also helps me to put it away and look at it again the next day, and I appreciate what I’ve done so much more. Looking forward to next week!

I love the idea of working with color printouts of some pages we’ve made. It gives a chance to work with the same beautiful design more than once, and I can keep the original, use it elsewhere, gift it to someone or sell it in a pack. Brilliant! I watched with great interest what you did here with the embossing powders. I’ve seen many an artist over the years use these powders, and I’ve just never been convinced that I want to jump into this type of embossing. However, some of the gorgeous papers you came up with has me thinking it over once again. I may not decide to do embossing yet, but it’s great to see some of the eye-catching things you can do with it. Thanks.

Hi Robyn. It’s so true sometimes I forget some of the products I have so when I’m reminded it’s wow look at this . I’m lucky enough to have a room upstairs to call my studio, which I can never seem to keep organized. Just want to create. Thanks for your inspiration. P.S I watch you on my smart TV so my husband hears the jet that go over he loves jets & planes and would love to see them . Thanks Annie

I so commiserate with you on studio organization. I’m trying, yet again, to straighten up all my precious “stuff”-that’ll probably take me until 2022. I don’t know how Robyn keeps such an organized art studio! P.S. Dachsies reign! (But, of course all breeds-or non breeds are wonderful just because they’re dogs.)

I recently converted my guest bedroom into my studio and covered the walls with lots of my artwork. It was all just laying in a closet. It is so inspiring to look at your work and be proud of it, nonjudgmentallly. It is my sacred and most favorite space in my home. Thank you so much Robyn for all of your videos and inspiration! You are an amazing womyn and artist!!!❤️

For my journal I am taking your binding method of the advent journal and using three rings and the book covers from a book. At some point I will do the covers. You said it would get chunky and I also wanted the ability to rearrange my pages if desired plus take out a page to work on if I wanted to. I am using your weekly prompts to get a book project done that I have had in my mind for a long time. Thank you so much for this 52 week journey. Looking forward to each week’s prompt!

Thank you Robyn. I have been “feeling lost” in my art and creativity for awhile now. I watched your “void” video last week, and you inspired me to sit for a few minutes every day and just start pasting some of my gel prints into a book. I now have a lot of pages ready to work on and I feel energised again to keep going now. Love your style, and so looking forward to following along each week....thank you again for inspiring me. ❤️from Australia

I finally understand what you mean when you talk about your plate being yummy and how it takes a bit to get going (I'm also in AZ). Deli and tissue paper were a first for me - WOW love those papers and the Arteza paints! I'm lucky to have a casita for my studio. I'm very excited about this 52-week challenge - even though I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing. lol. Thanks for the inspiration! BTW - I found Patty Pockets on Etsy and she ships from CA.

Your discussion on creative space has forced me to admit that I am extremely fortunate to have a table and two bookcases for my artistic projects. I am ashamed to admit that I blamed the somewhat cramped space for not starting on or finishing my projects, some started many years ago. In actuality, it's fear that has immobilized me. Thank you for opening my eyes to the real problem!

THANKS for the sponge tip. I have only used daubers which I couldn't regulate well, and also simply pushing the Wow pad down, which wastes it. Am searching for the powders you used but they fast disappeared! That's great, though. Seth will be thrilled, I am sure. :-)

I used to have an art aerie in the attic of my old house (it was a turn of the century structure with stairs to the attic). In my new house, I’ve plunged down several stories to the walk-out basement. I’ve sectioned off a nice sized part of it with folding screens so I have what I consider a real “studio”. I really love that the screens definitely do make it feel like a separate “room”. (I got [relatively] inexpensive screens from one of those websites that specialize in screens, but I see that now there are even less expensive cardboard screens on the web. They’d be fun to decorate-what a way to display those extra gel prints.) Robyn-oh, my Art Spirit Guide, (yeah, yeah, I sound a wee pretentious, but I feel the need to separate you out from the other art channels I follow as you are so special), I’ve gotten my notebook, and I’m avidly watching this video. As soon as I’m done, I’m going to do week 1 to catch up, then start to Awaken. Your ideas are so contagious! I join my fellow Robyn followers in thanking you.

It's a crazy hour of the morning in Melbourne, Saturday turning into Sunday. I had stayed up to gelli a little as the whole family was asleep and I finally had peace and quiet. Went to my computer to check if your Saturday post was up. Yippee there you are!!! I'm excited about the 52 weeks. I am finding it hard to accept "pretty" in my art work but it's going to be a part of my "awakening". Thanks again Robyn. Love, love love what you do. When you came to Australia, where did you go? Was it a personal visit or attached to a university/product launch or something else?

My dream is to have a studio...but for now I have a space in my living room but my suplise are all over the place under my bed, in my selfmade shelf in the livingroom (a lot of equal boxes) I have ad least 4 different dressers or small cupboards only for suplies and materials and it is stil not enough, living in a 2 room apartment makes it not easier. I am multicreativ so I have a lot of "usable" stoff.

I found embossing medium pens before Christmas but haven't tried them yet. I don't do the intuitive scripting but I will try them with words and contour botanical drawing. ROBYN I am still stuck.on my studio clean up journal making. The amount of paper I have gelli printed is a bit towards the hoarder side. If I get out embossing powders and heat gun now I will never get this paper corralled into journals!

Wonderful video! Thank you! I'm curious if the powders create a raised effect on the paper or does it smooth out? I hope I'm explaining this correctly! I guess I'm trying to say is it smooth to the touch or can you feel the embossing once it's completed. Also, my journal showed up today from the link you provided. I was surprised how small it was. Yours looks so large in the video! Is yours really 5.5 x 8.25? THANK YOU always!
