@@lifeisgood070 pickup, these ej's are not designed with this in mind so you end up soaking one side with oil while the other is just dry. they're already touchy engines wrt to fluids so running a couple cylinders dry does a looooooot of damage pretty fast, there's some videos here of sti's that you can hear the newly formed rod knock by the end of their donuts lol

@@roboticunclephil Damn. I gotta find a video of where to add the baffles. Definitely very touchy engines. I've blown them before. It's so sad. Pathetic when they say subaru's are sooooo reliable. I could do donuts with a lot of rear wheel drive toyota inline engines like the 2.7L from the tacoma with no problems. Even could do it with 1000lbs+ in the bed. All day.

@@lifeisgood070 continuous donuts causes oil to build up on one side of the pan, and without baffles this causes the pickup to be sucked dry. The starvation of oil to the con rod bearings ends up in either knocking or a rod kissing the moon

@@remissiveslave ? I'm the guy the says I can blow any stock 2.5L block without abuse and once the oil is warm. And I still have a $1000 bet out there. I've blown these engines before. No need to try it. I think they have a crank oiling defect - based on my experience.
