Stick with that attitude and your right, practice, practice, practice! I have played trombone for 5 years now and it wasn't till like 2 and a half years of playing to understand that practicing is the key to success and now I've done pretty well for myself.

You need to understand there's more than 1 way of soloing. A solo written down, whether it's by him or the arranger, it's still called a solo. If your just making it up then it's called improvisation, using either blues scales or chords.
@troll7589
7 жыл бұрын
RandomlyOriginal he did play parts that was already written. But Saying that to the rules old is Never looks down and is not Simply not true. A good solist actually have studied jazz Theory will follow his chords progressions written Down in the Note. So proffesional musicians also sometimes need to check their notes during the solo

A piece like that is composed to be a song, that is, sung - by a voice. Other than the "Great God..." part the melody is pretty monotonous. The bone solo doesn't do anything to save it.
