I don’t know why but when Ludo says, “I feel as though the green beans died for nothing” Graysons face always makes me burst out laughing 😂

Wow Grayson is a nasty piece of work, at least have some respect for the people you're talking to and stop having such an attitude. You have to be really bad to make Philip somehow look like a better person. I also don't really understand the criticism about Frances' dish, it feels inconsistent from tasting to judging table and it's not really clear as to what they didn't like about it.

If you’re in a Competition like Top Chef, would you use “canned chickpeas”?! I would’ve Bashed on Frances too, because that was Lazy on her part, especially when that Restaurant they took over doesn’t use Canned Products.

@@l-wolverine2211 I assumed it would be something like tomatoes and mushrooms where the canned version has it's own benefits compared to the fresh varieties? Both Padma and Gail enjoyed the dish so clearly she managed to do something right. If the restaurant doesn't use canned goods then where did she get the cans from?

@@nikhilcruz Frances clearly bought the Canned Chickpeas at Whole Foods. A professional chef & food critic can taste any canny flavor when it comes to any product, and even if Frances didn’t say anything, they would’ve found out that she did use a canned ingredient. Believe me, I’ve had Fresh Chickpeas before, and they’re miles better than “canned”. There’s a history of Top Chef Alumni that have gotten in trouble for using canned, frozen, or premade products, and some of them have been Eliminated, because of that reason. One in particular was Ed Lee at the Final 5 in Top Chef: Texas, when he used Canned Oysters. Of course, there are some exceptions, mostly if the challenges themselves allow the chefs to use any premade products, but overall, they’re almost required to use Fresh or Organic products, and they also praise chefs a lot more if they make anything from scratch, especially Bread, Pasta, & Desserts.

@@l-wolverine2211 Ok how would I know that? There is no indication in the video and the one at the Persian restaurant that they had to buy food elsewhere. I'm well aware of competition shows' preference for fresh products, it's more for easy drama and rooting out the lazy cooks than anything else.

@@nikhilcruz That’s because I’ve seen this episode a lot of times, thanks to Peacock, and I saw the entire episode as to what happened. You can’t just judge this actual video by what’s entirely shown, until you see the entire episode itself. Otherwise, you’re just making a blind comment that has little substance.
