Manual how to use the Tuatahi Grinding Jig By Eddie Fawcett of Tuatahi 1996 This video is property of Tuatahi, pending their agreement this video will remain hidden.
Do you need a different file clamp thing for each different grind or it it a matter of adjusting where the make rests and will this work on other brand ox axes or just the Tuatahi, will it work on your new camp axe?

The grinding rig is specific for racing axes with a circle formed cutting edge within certain specifications. Also you need the centre hole to position the axehead on the right location. Your file needs to be big/long enough to leave enough grinding surface after clamping. First I wanted to be fancy with DMT diamond blades but the wear like crazy... while good quality standard metal files like the Bahco ones work great.

Is the hole idea with any throwing axe or speed axe is to keep whatever Angel that's there.... how would you change the degrees of it so it's accurate on both sites or is this not the goal here.

Where do you get your files, what are the brand's of files do you use, and what is the courseness of your file?

BE MINDFUL of consurvation I use Bahco files, available at the local hardware store. Start with the most coarse and work my way up - finishing touch with DMT diamond blades and a buff wheel if I am in a shiny mood.
