This is so perfect, I just ordered an Axiom Iconic 8 and didn't want to go the toolbox and was going to make one and here you have it! I love how you made it fit in like it is metal but made from wood. I used to program CNC's for a living and they all had the pin setup for a fence, although they were pneumatic and raised and lowered with G code so I will add in your fence system also. I don't know how close my Iconic table is to yours, it is a 2x4 but may be different. Lots of projects to keep me busy! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for watching. I had to beat and beat to get that frame in. I made it too close to size, but got it in. The tables are vastly different between the iconic and pro. The principle will still work.

Looks good, I ended up buying a Harbor Freight tool box that fits where the Axiom box would go. Just had to remove the handles on the sides. But you have a great solution. Thanks again for the post and sharing the info.

Thanks for watching. Whatever works, right? I ran out of money and thought making one would be quick and easy. This version turned out to take a crazy amount of time to build. It had a lot of features that weren't on my original design. It just kept growing.

My axiom cnc will be here Wednesday, I also opted no to buy the toolbox. Your creation seems like a good way to go.

Thank you. I like their toolbox buy this was a fun project that took way more than it should have. When ya get started with custom, sometimes it can be taken a little too far.

Thank you. The I2r is a solid machine. The downside is no 1/2 shank capability if that's what you want. Plus, it has a 1hp spindle which is a little underpowered but good for that price point. Where you are, you might consider stepcraft in your search. Lots of package & size options and a solid CNC for the money. They offer more accessories than anyone else..

You did an outstanding job. That looks amazing! I like your cabinet a lot better than the metal one that is sold by Axiom. And motivating idea for the side shelves. Thanks for the giving me my next next project I will be starting on tomorrow sir. Oohrah

Thank you for watching and for the kind words. It was a challenging project but certainly a rewarding outcome. I do like the top drawer that goes all the way across. It is has served me well. I would change the shelf layout a little and make it span the whole side.

@@ChristcrossCrafts Oohrah. And I will add this as well- I have looked at the tool box that Axiom sells ...many times....and I think that yours is much better and more storage. I agree....I like that the top drawer being all the way across as well. So I will make my shelf go across as you advise. Again, thanks and stay safe and motivated. Semper Fi

i enjoyed the video...apart from the incessant metal riffs in the background, if you want to grow your channel you have to have music that appeals to a broader spectrum of people.

Agreed. On this one, I should have chosen better background music, or at least lowered the volume even further. Thank you for the feedback.

@@kevinwillis6707 Not at all. I was having major sound issues in my shop with a very loud air conditioner and had to cut quite a bit of the video parts where I explain things. Other areas had to be completely voiced over. Nothing like trying to relax and watch woodworking videos and be bombarded with loud shop noises or other bad sounds.
