Hello! A nice video and very good descripion, thanks! 😊 I have a Citroën C1 (2010) with 175000 km. I've chance the water pump at 135000 km. But I've removed the right weel too for a good access to the pump. There are different ways to do the job 😄 Greetings from Switzerland, Sarah👋🏻🍀

Sadly it was scrapped about 6 months later due to a major fuel leak inside the vehicle 😢

Only 3,5 litre gone in and the specs are 4 litres how is this possible? Because i changed the coolant and in my case only 3 litres gone in. How can I solve this? Thanks

There will always be some coolant left in the radiator or engine block so not completely empty, don't worry about it. Just keep an eye on coolant level for a few days after doing a job like this as some further settlement / air might be purged from the system and the level may drop a little.

Nice job, thanks for sharing. On a separate note: how are you old enough to have a daughter who drives? You must have been a father at 12.

So there is no need to change the water pump just because the timing belt is getting changed. That saves some waste.

These Toyota engines are chain driven. The only belt is the Auxiliary belt (waterpump, alternator)

@@life_on_cars True,..but what few know is that the engine actually comes from Daihatsu. (However ,Toyota bought the company in 2016 and many who are younger have never heard of Daihatsu so I think it's fun facts.)
