Believe it or not people, I knew him personally back in Haiti. He was a friend of my aunt and i was a kid. He used to visit us regularly. And one day, came over with his guitar and sang that song the very first time for us at our house and told us he was going to sing it at that national televised show, which ended up a winning first prize i think and made him a star after that show. We watched and cheered him that night. The Concours American Airlines in Haiti was big and equivalent to "American Got Talent". If you were called to sing at that show, it's like making it to Hollywood, it was where they'd discover Talented Haitian artists and sponsored by American Airlines where one of the prizes was ticket get away to visit the U.S or some other countries. Life was good back then, sends chills through my body thinking how civilized it was back then compared to today.

Sidon does not have aids and never did, he is a good friend of the family. He is just not singing maybe for lack of appreciation of his talent( my personal opinion) and he is well alive and enjoying life if you ever heard his latest album that is so profound I fall asleep with that CD all the songs are great.
