That little smile at the very end of the video, as he reopens his eyes :) Very comforting to see! I had always thought that Senna died in a troubled state of mind. Doubting why he was there, worried about the drivers' safety and pain towards Roland and at how the show could just go on like this. Indeed, Senna was in a troubled state of mind. But this video if anything shows his mental strength, and how he manages to close his eyes, clear his mind, and remind himself why he was there- because it is what he loves. He opens his eyes now with this perspective (probably for the first time that weekend notices the crowd, appreciates he's on pole etc) and falls in love with the sport again, ready to race. RIP

It's clear by his expression that he felt very conflicted about racing that day, he knew something was just not right and he felt stuck, he couldn't let the Williams team down. I just wish that the race officials and his engineers had been as dedicated to their jobs as Ayrton was to his. I guess when the accident happened at the start of his race he must have realised his bad feelings were coming true. I just wish he could have known it was ok for him to stop racing after that accident and walk away. Intuition is our best safety protection.

I think he didn't have any motivation left to run. I mean, he probably wanted to race, but he wanted the old days back, with all those drivers who he looked up to. That's why he said he missed Prost. in 1994 he was the most experient, he had won 3 championships already, he was in "the best" team... Plus, the car was unstable and he had the impression that the Benneton was irregular. We don't know if it really was, but he thought so. And that worried him. But he knew that in the end, if he set the car right, he would win. He missed the real competition, not those kind of problems. And, of course, he was worried about the safety of F1.

Senna will forever be remembered. Though his death was tragic to everyone some good did come out of it because this is what got people starting to think about safety and started taking it seriously.

Everybody who are watching this video should know something at least: Senna is INCREDIBLY sad because Ronald Ratzenberger has just died the day before. He is still feeling it, in fact carrying an Austrian flag for Ronald's tribute.
