My brother went to to the same high school (Newton South) in the 1990s. My father lived in Newton, MA, at the time, and my brother lived with him after the divorce. Granted, my brother was a year behind Krasinski and Novak (they graduated in '97, my brother in '98) and didn't hang out with them or even knew them. It's a large school. But after THE OFFICE came out, they mentioned that Krasinski and Novak graduated from Newton South, and I said to my brother, "Hey, that's where you went around the same time, too." But my brother doesn't remember them. Makes you wonder how many people you went to school with, that you didn't pay attention to, went on to bigger, better things.

musicaltheatergeek79 Well, yeah. I have pretty strong intuition about people. I never said he was an asshole or anything, I just feel like he puts on this act is all. Something about the way he is in interviews is off-putting. Kind of phony, if that makes sense? Like I said - maybe he's the nicest guy in the world, I wouldn't know. But I'm allowed to have an opinion. If I'm wrong? Great. I hope he's a nice dude. I just don't get positive vibes from him is all.

I have to kind of agree with you down there. In the Office, I'm obsessed with Jim Halpert's calm, condescending, sarcastic and hilarious character, and I'd say Ryan is quite dull and not as cool. Then in reality, I don't personally know them so I could be wrong, but John Krasinski is not very witty or playful, and B.J Novak is extremely cool, funny, sarcastic, smart, and interesting to talk to.
